Ruway: Fashion For A Cause

On May 9th we (Sara, Caitlin, Beth, Leann and Ashley) had the honor providing hair and makeup services for the models of the Fashion For A Cause Runway Event. 

Proceeds from the runway event will support the Chesapeake Kids, a program service of Hospice of the Chesapeake, which helps and supports children living with illness, children dealing with the illness of a family member, and supporting children who are grieving the loss of a loved one. We were honored to be chosen as the official hair and makeup partner! A big thank you to Laura Strosnider for the invite!

Among the talented people donating their time was a friend we often see in the wedding industry! Mike B snapped some great pictures!

Prior to the show Caitlin and I swapped our work uniform for a more dressier look. We loved walking the "red carpet" to enter the stunning Porsche of Annapolis.  Many thanks to Travis Curry Photography for capturing us! Always a fun time with Travis!

Runway: Francesca's Bridal at the Tremont Grand

Keeping with our theme of runway blog posts we thought we would show you some of the gorgeous dresses from Francesca's Bridal! Her shop is located off BelAir Road in Baltimore! When Francesca asked us (Caitlin, Leann, Sara and Dana)  to do the hair and makeup for her models, we were pumped! The event was held at the Tremont Grand and these images by Photography by Alexander show off the detailed designs. The models were a pleasure to work with and we enjoyed meeting Mrs. Heather Ziehl, Miss Maryland America.

A Day At The Temple

Ashley was recently asked to speak at The Temple a Paul Mitchell School. It was an amazing experience to inspire the future professionals. Ashley educated the students on her success in the wedding and beauty industry. She also shared some trade secrets of her gorgeous up styles.  The students were delighted with the new education, tips and techniques! A big thank you to The Temple and Dana for inviting us!
